Are Media<\/span>, Australia\u2019s #1 women\u2019s lifestyle network, has appointed Dean Bishop to head up its independent agencies team in the role of Agency Lead – Independent Agencies.<\/p>\n

Reporting to Jimmy Kerr, Are Media\u2019s NSW Head of Sales, Bishop will have a focus on deepening the publisher\u2019s engagement with independent agencies, delivering relevant and bespoke client solutions spanning digital, print, social and experiences across Are Media\u2019s broad portfolio of premium brands.<\/p>\n

Kerr said: \u201cI\u2019m thrilled to welcome Dean to Are Media. He has an outstanding track record of collaborating with agencies and brands to deliver partnerships that drive genuine impact.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bishop joins Are Media from Nine where over the past decade he held a number of sales roles across its Total TV and Total Audio sales teams, most recently as Group Business Manager.<\/p>\n

\u201cDean is one of the rising stars in the media sales world and we\u2019re thrilled to bring someone of his calibre into the business at such a pivotal time,\u201d Kerr added. \u201cHis experience and understanding of the independent agency landscape will be instrumental in accelerating our growth and driving stronger outcomes for our clients.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bishop\u2019s appointment comes the same week Are Media announced it had partnered with ARN\u2019s iHeart podcast network to expand the reach of its premium video-led podcasts and create new cross-platform opportunities for brands.<\/p>\n
