{"id":63618,"date":"2024-11-28T12:25:44","date_gmt":"2024-11-28T01:25:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aremedia.com.au\/?p=63618"},"modified":"2024-11-28T12:26:00","modified_gmt":"2024-11-28T01:26:00","slug":"home-and-food-brands-shine-in-new-readership-numbers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aremedia.com.au\/home-and-food-brands-shine-in-new-readership-numbers\/","title":{"rendered":"HOME AND FOOD BRANDS SHINE IN NEW READERSHIP NUMBERS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>New data shows Are Media print titles reach more than 5.99 million Australians a month*<\/p>\n<p>Home and food magazine brands were the star performers for Are Media, the leading omnichannel content company for women, in the new Roy Morgan readership numbers.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-63619 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.aremedia.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/AreMedia-RM_readership_Dec-1024x690.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"690\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.aremedia.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/AreMedia-RM_readership_Dec-1024x690.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.aremedia.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/AreMedia-RM_readership_Dec-300x202.png 300w, https:\/\/www.aremedia.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/AreMedia-RM_readership_Dec-768x518.png 768w, https:\/\/www.aremedia.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/AreMedia-RM_readership_Dec-1536x1035.png 1536w, https:\/\/www.aremedia.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/AreMedia-RM_readership_Dec-2048x1380.png 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The combined readership of Are Media print grew to 5.99 million readers a month in the September quarter compared to the previous quarter.<\/p>\n<p><em>Better Homes and Gardens<\/em> lead the pack as the most-read paid print magazine in Australia, with 1.825 million readers (average issue).<\/p>\n<p>Also in the home category, <em>Country Style<\/em> increased its readership 20% year-on-year to 218,000, while <em>Australian House &amp; Garden<\/em> was up 4% year-on-year to 727,000 readers and <em>Belle <\/em>increased 1% quarter-on-quarter to 124,000.<\/p>\n<p><em>Gourmet Traveller<\/em> was another standout, with its readership growing 11% year-on-year to 244,000. <em>New Idea Food<\/em> jumped 19% year-on-year to 126,000, while <em>Diabetic Living<\/em> was up 15% year-on-year to 316,000.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Australian Women\u2019s Weekly\u2019s <\/em>print audience remained stable at 1.2 million.<\/p>\n<p>Both <em>Woman\u2019s Day<\/em> and <em>TV WEEK<\/em> saw quarter-on-quarter print readership growth, with the latter up 3% to 342,000 and the former up 1% to 712,000.<\/p>\n<p>Total cross-platform audiences (print and digital) also increased, with Better Homes and Gardens leading the charge at over 2.2 million, followed by Woman\u2019s Day with 1.9 million and The Australian Women\u2019s Weekly at 1.6 million.**<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Are Media Chief Executive Officer, Jane Huxley, said: \u201cIn tough economic times, people turn to brands they know and trust.
